Matt has joined The Dennehy Group after serving in various capacities for Congressman Charlie Bass (R-NH). Most recently he served as Campaign Manager for the second consecutive election cylce. In 2004, Matt helped Mr. Bass to a 20% margin of victory, the largest of his six successful campaigns.

In 2003, Matt began his political tenure in the New Hampshire House of Representative as a Legislative Assistant to the Majority Leader.

Prior to managing his campaign in 2004, Hagerty was hired by Mr. Bass to serve as his Projects Assistant here in New Hampshire. He worked with a number of New Hampshire¹s Mayors, City Managers, and City Councilors to help municipalities acquire federal funds for city and town initiatives.

After Mr. Bass' successful 2004 re-election, Matt made the move south to serve as Legislative Assistant in the Congressman's Washington office. Matt advised the Congressman on issues pertaining to General Government, Ethics Reform, and Welfare, as well as assisting the Policy Director with Energy, Communications, and Environmental legislation.

Matt graduated from Colby-Sawyer College and holds a BA in Communications with a Minor in Business Administration.
